Soror Amira Labiod
Resource Mobilization Committee Lead

Soror is an Algerian climate justice advocate, feminist leader, and Doctor of Dental Medicine. With a passion for bridging science, gender, and environmental justice, she brings an interdisciplinary approach to tackling the climate crisis through a feminist lens.

As co-founder of Beyond Bias, she works to expose and challenge systemic discrimination—particularly within technology, labor, and climate policy—while centering the voices of women and Indigenous communities. Her identity as Soror—a sister in solidarity—shapes her mission to build inclusive, community-rooted change.

Within Climate Sirens, she plays a key role in the resource mobilization team, contributing to the design of strategic partnerships and sustainable funding models for grassroots and youth-led climate initiatives across the SWANA region.

Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, Soror Amira is dedicated to empowering the next generation of advocates and ensuring that climate action is both inclusive and justice-driven.
